Re: Petrol Tank that are made in India ?
I have an original that sprung a leak, so when the india tank arrives I will be able to compare.

Edit. If anyone has roundels and/or knee pads that aren't quite perfect, let me know.
Edit2: and can someone tell me if the white lines look right. From the pictures I thought that they didn't look like decals, but my original sports tank had already been repainted, without stripes. Are they positioned correctly?

Thank you, I would love to hear from you again on the subject and see what your impression is of this tank, when it arrives.

I end up repairing my old fender. It was a waist of time and money.
Metal was fragile and thin
Picture on E-Bay showed shaft channel
It was not there

Really very disappointing to get such a poor product. An unpleasant experience.
Hopefully you were at least able to get some sort of compensation from the vendor, since in the eBay regulations he absolutely did not comply.
Thanks for sharing.
Edit-
Who is the manufacturer?
Does he have a website?
We will all have to be careful of him ...

BTW, can anyone translate German. I guess I asked for that.
EDIT: it appears "befindet sich im lackierprozess" means they are just painting it now.

E-bay didn't help I never got my money back it was a nightmare. Vendor changed names and offer the same product under a different E-bay supplier using the exact same information. Lost of time and money.Micha wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 12:53 amI'm sorry to hear.

Re: Petrol Tank that are made in India ?
Upon opening the box there was a strong smell of paint, bubble wrap left impressions all over the tank.
RT side cover mounting holes were about 2-3 mm off.
LT side cover would not fit...at all.
Lining inside the tank bubbled up with the first splash of gas.
I will not buy anything from them again.
