R67 Speedometer service

Post by mcsherry1328 »

I have a 1951 R67 that the speedometer needs service. It works fine but the chrome bezel is pitted and the face looks dirty. What shop are you recommending these days ? I read some time ago that several of the repair shops just send it off to one guy. This is a Veigel speedometer . Thanks, Michael

Received my speedometer last week. Joe was excellent to deal with. Lucky to have these talented craftsmen still working on vintage equipment . Before and after picture from Joe's.

Cost to service this speedometer was $210. Considering modern service rates I thought this was very fair.
