What year guzzi v7. I keep looking at this one. The dealer is 4 hours away and I don't really need another bike. Also never spent over 3000 for a motorcycle in my life.

OTD they say will be $9370. From what I read I imagine a modern experience while mixing the charm of the R69 and xs650.
My California I fell in love with in the first mile, but a lighter bike would be good for my age and the roads I ride.

And try the insert for that solo seat, it really does the trick for comfort. Really! Before the insert my balls would fall asleep  Now I sit more on the seat, not in the seat.

Thank you
Don

Don,
What insert for the solo seat are you talking about?

My Guzzi V7 is an "09. At that time they were made old-style, with pushrods and Heron heads! They were the last road going machine in the world with the Heron flat valve set up. New Guzzi V7s have modern overhead valves, and other upgrades, but I like the old way. It's like having an airhead!

I cut a chunk of this stuff to fit between the 2 rubber layers. I weigh 230 and this made the difference.

Don
Above is the insert.

The v7 iii is still push rods, they just went to hemi heads. The main complaint I read about the V7 is the suspension. Whats your experience?

My V7 is an early one, and the suspension is fine, if you are accustomed to vintage bikes. The whole thing is like a vintage bike. If you are looking for liter bike performance, it's not there. But if you are happy with a relaxed ride, it's great. It's like a throw back machine, but with disc brakes.

I run this group on the V7, feel free to join: https://groups.io/g/Moto-Guzzi-750
