R60/2 Small end bushing replacement

Post by Ziggy »

Looking to hear from anyone who has done this. Loose bushing has revealed itself - slips out with ease. Barrington book references a no longer available Cycleworks tool.

Sorry I dont have a R60/2 but a R69. So, small end bushing. Is that in the engine....trans.. wheel? There are a lot of bushings of kinds, on these bikes. Maybe just give us a clue.

The older BMW organization VMCA had a tool loan program. Since some of their assets have been brought into the VBMWMO, possibly such a tool was in their inventory. Maybe someone can check with other members to see if the tool loan program would be helpful.
