As pictured, there are two metal clips that hold the ground/neutral wire to the frame behind the gearbox. These pictures are off my current restoration and the originals pictured had rounded ends and were cad plated.
The tie straps used were various, but all metal and all black on the frame. If you need me to take pictures of where they are let me know.
I was told (but cannot confirm) that they sometimes used metal clips on the handlebar to hold the hi/low beam/horn wire. I use grey metal ties on the handlebar myself and feel they are as correct as the clips.
