R50S silent block question

Tommy,

I believe that the thread at the bottom of the shock is the same on the R27 as well as the twins. That is what allows the R27 eye mount to screw onto the twin shock.

I am still not sure that is what I have yet as I have been told by several people that the R50S was a bit odd and everything has been correct so far. All the right parts with the right age and markings to belong to this particular bike. It’s possible this got mixed in by mistake but I am still wondering about it.

does the right rear shock also have a 10mm silent block
is the left rear shock mounting bolt hole 10 or 12mm

No, it is 12mm on the left side.

I have others looking at their R50S machines now. I will keep all informed once I find out for certain.
