Auto advance unit for R67, mines broken !

Hi , my lovely 1951 R67 has a problem ! Or should I say I have a problem, the auto advance unit has got so worn now that the engine is " untimeable " I would like to get a new one but Jan at Salis BMW in Holland does not sell them any more due to the poor quality of manufacture ,I presume that only one company has been making them so any one who has them for sale must have the same issue , so what can I do ,has anyone a half decent one to sell me or what course can I take .....any advice please , my bike which I love and have owned for over 20 years is my baby! Give a call to Vech at Bench Mark Works. Not sure if they have any parts on the shelf, but they might have used spares for sale. Or at least ask them for other leads.

One lead in Europe is Mark Huggett. I gather he is like Vech in Europe in terms of their parts supplies. I believe they have worked in the past on getting repro parts made such as mufflers, etc.
