After Market Condenser
Regarding the condenser, he says: "The condenser is not a problem to obtain, since a V8 ford condenser can be used, and they are readily available from any auto parts store".
Well here in Israel, US made cars are rare and V8 engines are not common. I will be happy to get a Ford part number as example so I will be able to obtain one over at eBay or so. Are there also GM p/n's available? Or are there some kinds of generic numbers?
On the other hand, a new condenser costs about 8$ over at Mark Haggett, not including shipping. Are there any benefits of reliability to those coming from Ford engines?
Thanks.

Re: After Market Condenser
Vech had indicated the Ford was a 1973 V-8, but I don't have a part number.
In some other information I saved, I have a VW part number 1 237 330 067 for an R60/2. When I google that I find other quite a few hits for that. But they all seem to be generally higher than $10. I say buy the part from Huggett and then maybe down the road, investigate buying one of the aftermarket types as a spare.
Another Bosch number that might prove compatible is GB553.
