Does anyone have experience with the repro speedo available from Blue Moon Cycles?
I just called and spoke to them and they don't know where they are manufactured, but order them from a company in Germany.
I am also wondering if they might be the same repro's that are commonly available on eBay for $50.
They did confirm that their repro speedo does not have a trip odometer

Do you have an original for the bike? Why not get it fixed instead?

I don't have the original, but do have a line on one. A rebuild is my preference, but running a repro, if the are not junk would be an option

Blue Moon certainly should be able to determine from their supplier where the speedometer was made. It would surprise me if they had not already asked this question. They are a well-established company. What kind of return or warranty do they offer?

My thoughts as well, they should know where it is made but do not... at least the parts guy didn't know and didn't offer to go grab one and look for a label.
I may call back and try again.

Just had one rebuilt by Joe’s Speedometer. Cost was $240. Looks like new. Factor that into your decision making.
