Mechanics...
I live in Portland..
I took my bike to Kevin Brooks in Olympia cause after purchasing tools and such for a slinger clean, it seemed better to just have him do it right the first time.
Little did I know I was going to have all these other issues... but he's top notch.
But as far as Portland goes, there's Derek Cheshire here in Portland and Steve Prokop in Dundee.
I think there's a couple guys in Eugene, but don't personally know them.
Good luck though..
We ride out that way a couple times a year.. I'll contact you when we head out there again!
Rob

Finished...
Just wanted to finish up the engine/slinger rebuild thread.
I got my bike back yesterday from Kevin.
I'm very glad to have had him do the work and set an extra set of eyes on everything.
I had him do some extra work while it's at his shop.
Nre rear tire/tube.
New rear hub seal along with pack bearings and clean everything up back there.
Same for the front hub.
Some other smaller misc stuff too..
Overall the bike sounds/feels great!
I just did a quick 10 mile ride before it started pouring rain here.
Here's a photo of the aftermath..
