Can you explain what you mean by no hi/low beam pattern? I have one and love it.

I just got one of the BA20D headlight bulb 5v-30v R25-R69SLEDs for my 1969 R60US. The bulb seems to work fine and the hi/low beam patter does function as long as the red wire from the hi/low indicator bulb (if your bike has one) in the headlight bucket is NOT connected to terminal 56a. Further testing indicated that whenever terminal 56a is grounded, the high beam patter is ON regardless of the switch position. Why this is I do not know.
