Hi All,
I just received 2 3.50x18 me77's for my 1968 r60/2. The front tire is 4 ply and the rear tire is a 3 ply and feels rather weak. Can anyone running this combination tell me what the ply's are on their tires? It doesn't seem like it would be safe to be running a weaker tire on the rear. The rear tire has a date code making it 4 years old while the front has a 1 year date code, I wonder if they changed the construction during this period or maybe it has to where they were made. Any opinions would be appreciated.
