steel rim /2 identification

Can someone tell me how to identify an original /2 steel rim over a reproduction steel rim?
Are here some stampings? Maybe BMW or a part number on the inside?
thanks,
Scott

Thanks, I got an answer over on the /2 yahoo groups, apparently there are 2 numbers stamped inside the steel rim, one being a drawing number and the other being a date code.
