Another milestone, I install the logo.

The paint covered the emblem screw holes.

Paint is still fresh and I used a blade to cut thru the hole to prevent a tear.

Plug came out easy.

I´s been almost 4 years since I remove these emblems from the tank.

Rear Fender

The first thing I did was to wire the fender. I left enough wire on both ends to electrify the rear/stop light and to connect it inside the battery compartment.

And before proceeding make sure you have all the hardware ready and proven to fit in diameter and length.

To fit the fender in between the shock absorber mounts I used a pair of woodworking clamps and pads. I used and cut swimming pool foam noodles they are very soft.

Great job! I am impressed.
For electric cables, I try to stay with original colours to facilitate things when my memory will be gone or if I sell my bike. I understand that with only 3 cables, having different colours than OEM in the rear fender is way too much, I must be anal... :D
Fitting the cables in my rear fender was a pain: I had to put the 3 cables in a long piece of shrink Tube and put a lot of marine grease, in case water find its way.

Palica, one more for my "I should have" list?
I order color coded wires but receive 12 gauge, too wide to pull thru.
As soon as I receive the correct shipment It will be easy to use the old set tu pull the new thinner cables in.
I can also ground the rear light at the fender and save a cable coming thru the wire channel.
Thanks for your lines and good catch.

Break light tube and lens.

Next I installed the break light tube, passing the wire thru.

Used the wiring diagram to make sure I was connecting into the right slot.

Both the running and break light works when stepping into the pedal.

I purchased this 6 volt LED stop light several years ago and it still works. I don't remember the seller.
