R75

Post by Beemer100 »

Hi guys,

I’m more active in the “vintage” section but I have a topic which might find better resonance over here. I’m looking to buy a R75 (wouldn’t mind a KS750 Zundapp either) and I wonder if there is someone in this forum who could help me with this search.

Thanks and best regards
Klaus

And if you're wondering about prices, this compares Wehrmacht BMW R 75 and Zundapp 750 prices, restored and restorable, from 2000.

Thanks,

Unfortunately I don’t have the paper version and it seems it’s not on the online Hemmings Website. Can you guys give me some more direction?

The price comparison is funny. It’s released by a guy who stopped his business and he has tons of these bikes in a warehouse … good motivation to put these prices out there on the market. Fact is, I haven’t seen any beemer or Zundapp actually selling at these prices. Advertised? Yes. Always worth a try …

Best
Klaus

Good R75's are hard to find. There are plenty of junk ones that came out of the East after the iron curtain fell. All I can tell you is to be real careful when you buy one. As to the prices, they don't come up for sale very often at all. It is hard to establish what a fair price is. This is the one that I own. It took me years of work to do a total restoration get it in the condition it is in now.
