R47 Steering damper

Post by speight1823 »

All I have of the steering damper for the 1928 R47 is BMW cat number 1826. This is the threaded cup nut which holds the fork in place. The pictures in the catalogue is the only pictures I have seen of this damper. Would love to make one but need a photograph of how it works . I could scale the parts from the catalogue.
Does anyone have a photo of this in position or an original they could take a photo for me?
Thanks
Bill
