Old bmw wheels are perfect again,after 80 years.
A lot of spoke holes was stretched over 7mm even 8mm or more.Now it’s all 7mm, as it must!
Old doppel dickend spokes and spoke nuts also fresh again.

Hi John!
Firstly i used my old spokes,so much as possible and others i get here and there Europe.
Then i processed them sandpaper and finally polished before re chrome and same i make spoke nuts.

Hello eweryone!
I’m restoring 1938 r51 and I looking pre war r51 rear plunger,left side.
I have one but this is post war R 51/2,3.Maybe someone want to exchange it ?.
Allsou I dont have amal fischer 5/423 carbs,gearbox housing and more some important parts,but I have few R5 parts what I would to change pre war r51

I have a lot of questions about pre war r51
Question about headlight and main beam switch: I have seen two different type,one switch is left side and another is right side on the gasroll and cable hole is same side on the headlight. My engine nr is 504890 without OZ 80. Which is the correct combination ?
Ogre,do you can send my the pictures of this gearbox housing?
