R52 Exhaust.

Baffles or not?
On my R52 the baffle at the end of the header pipes has the welded on end cap removed, assuming its suppose to have one. Also, the second baffle that goes into the rear of the expansion chamber under the floor boards is missing.
So, for all intents and purposes I have straight pipes. First time I have looked at it, so it’s been that way for years.
Any thoughts on how the engine will run if I put them back in?
