BW 38 sidecar frame firing issues?

I recently bought a BW 38 chassis to bolt to my R12 but I'm having issues with the position of the front ball socket and the ball on my R12 frame in that the head hits the chassis? See photo.

Is my front ball wrong or have I spent a lot of money thinking that a BW 38 sidecar and chassis fit R12's?

Ahh, I've found a picture which shows my ball is wrong? If you look at the ball in this one it's longer than mine.

You have the wrong sidecar ball - the R12 ball is much longer.

Thanks Jeff,

I've ordered a longer ball from one of the suppliers. I hope its long enough, I believe it should be 80 - 90mm, but the longest I could find was 75mm.
