Workshop manual R11.

Hi!
I have a copy of the spareparts manual and the owners manual for the BMW R11.
But is there a workshop manual for the R11?? And if yes, is it possible to get a copy?

I have never seen a workshop manual (vs. an owners manual/handbuch) for any of the prewar bikes. I would love to have an original or a copy of any prewar workshop manual, if such existed.

Just wondering if the BMW Archive folks would have one or if they could say if one ever existed. And if, by chance, it did and they do have one if it would be possible to obtain a reproduction of some kind. I mean, isn't that what archives are for?

Ira, it's possible to search the BMW archives for materials that they have cataloged (and to order copies of photos/images). I've looked there and haven't seen a workshop manual.

As Darryl stated, there is no work shop manual for the prewar bikes, R11, R12, nothing of the kind. There is some small service type books for a owner but an actual tear down manual does not exist, sad but true.
