100 Year Celebration!!!

BMW is celebrating the 100th year anniversary of motorcycle production, 1923-2023.

The Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners club and the MOA will be hosting the “History of the past 100 years” at the MOA rally.

Since there will be limited space to display vintage BMW motorcycles (possibly only one each per BMW model), please sign up as soon as possible, for each motorcycle you intend to bring.

This is great! Does this club typically have a gathering at the event? I live about an hour from the rally site and am really looking forward to it.

Dear Mr J Wonder; Tom here , Warrenton va resident about an hour half from the Va state fair grounds at Doswell va . Having been there many times I am pleased to report it is a huge old farm park once part of the Paul Mellon horse breeding operation. There are large buildings and plenty of room and parking. Nearby is Kings Dominion a large family summer attraction. Motels are limited. I assume this is the venue the MOA has reserved. Perhaps our fellow Virginian and vintage bmw rider Patric is closer by at Colonial Heights. I am Glad to help this club organize from here. Sincerely. Tom

We have a very large group of Vintage riders here in the Richmond VA area. If you need anything we are willing to help. We are only 20 minutes from the event.

I also have a 66 R60/2 sidecar rig. The R60/2 was restored in 2016. The Globe GS200 sidecar is original from the 60's.

Are they looking for sidecar rigs?
