Vintage riders in Michigan?

I'd open my yard to vintage VBMWO riders tenting for a weekend just east of Flint. There's room for about 15 bikes and tents, is there any interest? I'm thinking early October.

I was a member of the VBMWO in the 80's. After having sent my renewal to Roland Slabon, I never received another issue of the Bulletin. I was with the VMCA for a while, then I heard the VMCA had been integrated with ehe VBMWO so I re-joined the other day.

Figuring there may be a few vintage owners here in Michigan, I thought to extend an invitation for a small meet up at my place south of Genesee, east of Flint.

Regards,

Carl Anderson

Is October too late in the season? Next Summer?

Just a slight bump...... Just found out about the VBMWMO via a purchase at b2v. They included a club postcard with my purchase. Works for me. Ride and wrench on several classics from the 70's, and 80's as well as a 08 GS. Been on the marque since '77 starting with a '72 R75/5 with many others since.

Never very active on club scenes because of work demands but have cut back and intend to change that.

Anyhow, thought I would post and let you know there is another Michigander in the neighborhood. I am near the I-94 corridor halfway between Detroit and Port Huron.

Steve

I have owned a BMW for several years now, and while I am generally happy with my car, I have had some problems with it. For example, I have had problems with the cooling system and the ignition. I have noticed that BMW has a reputation for high repair and maintenance costs. I would like to hear opinions from other BMW owners on how they handle the repair and maintenance costs of their cars. I would also like to know what typical problems BMW's have and how you solve them. Maybe you can share car care tips to keep your car performing and reliable for longer. I would appreciate your feedback and opinions!

I’m definitely interested in a weekend rally in Michigan. I’ve got a 1976 R75/6 and a 1994 R100RT. Not sure which one I’ll bring but I would attend from East Lansing.

Hi Jim

I’m in East Lansing, have two airheads and would definitely like to visit you at your shop. I have a 1976 R75/6 and a 1994 R100RT and would like to meet you and see your shop and bikes.
