Scottie's Workshop is moving to Murphys CA

Post by scottiesharpe »

We've purchased a 3 acre parcel in Murphys and we are moving the shop. Murphys is located about 100 miles east of the SF Bay Area - about 2 hrs ride (from Stockton, head east on Hwy 4). The new shop is located about 3 miles north of the town of Murphys on Hwy 4 at the intersection of Hwy 4 and Brice Station Road. (Murphys is located about 13 miles north/east of the intersection of Hwy 4 and 49 at Angels Camp.) The address is 3282 E Hwy 4, Murphys CA 95247. Further up the road is Arnold, Alpine Lake and Ebbets Pass.

Don't worry! We aren't abandoning our SF Bay Area clients! We will still be offering pickup and delivery services for customers in the SF Bay Area (and up and down the West Coast) so our relocation should not affect most customers. Pickups and drop-offs from home or office will happen weekly or bi-weekly. If you need a pickup, just call us> the phone is still 408-475-BMW6.

Our new property features three houses and an 1800 SF shop, plus lawns, gardens and plenty of parking. Some of our employees are moving too, and we have hired some new talent to fill the gaps. (We are currently hiring for an airhead tech, machinist, and gardener/groundskeeper.)

We have already started building another 5000 SF insulated metal shop on the property. This will bring us to a total of about 7000 SF of shop space with dedicated areas for our vintage workshop, classic workshop, welding, machine shop, grinding, bodyshop, woodshop and spray booth and office. We are also planning on building two restrooms with showers, a small laundry facility and a small commercial kitchen and outdoor pavilion for visitors and events. Visitors will be welcomed (Starting May 1, 2021) to visit. There are plenty of plush lawns for camping.

We are really excited about this move and we hope that you'll join stop by and visit us if you are passing through the area. This would not have been possible without the kind patronage of our clients and their passion for vintage motorcycles, not to mention our amazing team at Scottie's Workshop.

Thanks and see you in Murphys!
