Hello fellow BMW Airheads advriders.

I'm organizing a Sunday Ride and Airhead Tech Day Meet on Sunday Feb 21, 2016 for fellow riders. Anyone with a Airhead is welcome to come by and join the event. Also the tech day will be hosted at Black Kat Motorwerks 18619 Topham St Tarzana, CA 91335.
http://blackkatmotorworks.com/
The event will be hosted by owner Matt Gagne and Honorary Rick Monahan

My name is Kingsley and my good buddy Mike will host a early morning ride on our 1977 R100RS anked. We will meet early morning ride from Groundwork Coffee at Larchmount Village( 139 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004) 8:15am Meet up time. Departing 9am and ride up to Mulholland Drive into the valley to Black Kat at 10am.

This Airhead BMW motorcycle shop specializing on Airhead only will be supervised by the owner Matt Gagne and Honorary Rick Monahan. The shop has offer it's services and advice for free. The combine knowledge between Matt and Rick is 50 years of experience. We are working on bikes from 10a-3pm so if you want to have some services done please contact me for more information. I want to make sure we have enough time. Also we don't have all the parts needed for every bike so please have the parts ready and purchased for service on tech day. We can also pre-order parts too. This event has ton's of motorcycle parking and street parking for cars and trucks.
We encourage people to bring parts for sale and knowledge to this event. The event is open to fellow riders who's interest is classic Airhead Beemers. Of course anyone who's wants to come is welcome to attend as well. We're not limiting this event only to Airheads or BMW enthusiast.
If you're interested I'm taking a head count so please put your name and number people attending. I hope to see you either at the ride or tech day event at Black Kat Motorwerk.

Nice! I lived in The Valley

Post by Darryl.Richman »

Nice! I lived in The Valley for 33 years before moving off for a job. There are lots of nice little roads in the Santa Monicas to enjoy on an Airhead. I've never been, but wasn't Black Kat originally founded by Monahan in Venice? That address in Tarzana is very close to my parents' place, I'll have to drop in the next time I'm down to visit.

Monahan's Black Kat Motorwerk

Post by Kaptainkid1 »

Yes Black Kat Monahan's moved from Venice to Tarzana a couple years ago. I'm helping out and organized a few rides and tech days for fellow airheads. So I'm reaching out and I hope people dust off there old bike and come out for a ride. Rick is still at the shop but may leave in the next year, so you'll have to see off soon.
