I was invited to take my R62 to the Salon Prive Concours event held at Blenheim Palace last week where it took second place in the exceptional motorcycle class. Being wined and dined among some of the worlds finest vehicles and the company of some interesting people was a very pleasant way to spend a few days.
Colin Seeley was photographed admiring the bike, he had success racing RS54 engined Fath-Camathias Specials during the 60’s. His HRD Vincent was another class winning entry. Also trying the bike for size is Alan Cathcart, racer and bike journalist extraordinaire. He had a beautiful 50cc Maserati motorcycle entered.
