Americade/Lake George, NY 2015

Started yesterday and based on the sudden cold and rainy weather we are experiencing I'm glad I wasn't there. But I am heading up with a couple friends (Harley and an r1200rt) tomorrow/Wednesday for the rest of the week and the weather is supposed to be stellar, mid to high 70's till Saturday. Anyone else from this web-board going to be in attendance?
I have to chase a possible electrical problem when I get home so not sure if I'd bring my r60 or another bike. Trailering from downstate NY to Lake George.

Didn't see any /2's this year

I live in western Mass about 100 miles southeast of Lake George
Let me know if you are going next year would like to met you as their are very few vintage bmw bikes at this event

It was an incredible 5 days of riding, vendor visiting, demo'ing, eating, cigars and cocktails. Because of a potential electrical problem on my r60/2 I brought my '07 Patrol instead. And its a good thing I did. I rode with a group of 9 big twin Harley's and one r1200rt. The Ural performed at the very highest level that it and I could and kept up with the crowd. The r60 never could have.
There were a lot of BMW's but did not see even one vintage model which I thought odd.

My buddy riding the r1200 had one of those Garmin Sports cameras on the front of his bike. We put my GpPro on the back. Now we had a bonfide camera vehicle. Here's a short video of us traveling along Great Lake Sacandaga on our way to Lake George on Thursday or Friday. It is not speeded-up. First time editing camera-to-camera. Its a 4 minute video. See if you can pick me out (Hint: I'm the only one riding a Russian Sidecar rig).

This coming Friday & Saturday is the Rhinebeck Grand National at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Plenty of old iron and not far from anyone in Mass, CT, NY & NJ. That will be a nice ride up the Taconic Parkway. On the r60/2.
