At one time someone was making a Heinrich tank that would fit a conversion with sidecar.
Is anyone still making them?

A standard (8 Gal?) Heinrich tank fit my conversion/sidecar. Even had room under the tank for a /6 brake master cylinder. My coils went in the /2 battery case and the battery in the sidecar.

More than a few years ago, I tried to fit an original Heinrich and it wouldn't fit
and I don't recall where the interference was at. I am using one dual lead coil
so don't think that was the problem. Time to check again I guess .
Thanks

I never knew some Heinrich tanks had a cutout out for the sidecar mount. I will take a closer look when I get back to Washington next week.

I'm still in CA. Assisting a family member with chemo. Maybe I won't be heading back to WA until after Thanksgiving.

I just checked my tank and it is the same on both sides. That is, both sides are angled up at the front to clear the upper sidecar attachment for either right hand or left hand sidecars.

Mike, Could you post a side view picture of the tank on your conversion? Thanks
