Willow Springs International Raceway is about fourty miles north of the San Gabriel Mountains, which you can see in the background. The San Andeas Fault runs along this side of them, LA lies just to their south, and running through them are some wonderful mountain roads that make getting to Willow just as much fun as being there!

Since we are a BMW site, and especially and R90S one, I'll start with the one R90S that was there. This '76 has been owned by the same gentleman for 21 years, in which time he has covered a hundred thousand miles with it! He has done many upgrades, ightening the flywheel, double bracing the forks, San Jose triple clamp, handlebar brake resovoir, stainles spokes and fastners and a repaint. The bike wears it use with pride and looks like what it is, a tool for enjoying the road rather than a museum piece or a show winner.
The 1976 R90S and an R69S both seen in the paddock at Moto Classica.
