I have been watching this auction and can't quite get my head around it.

I have in the past seen low mile unrestored original bikes sell for far less money.

Only an auction will bring out the crazy people. Note the GS also on auction at BAT with bidding at near $25K.

A lot of money to spend on a decoration or to trailer to shows, LOL, since I don't have the show bike attitude nor the deep pockets, maybe I am being a reverse snob? St.

I just got back from a 150 mile ride and had to wash off a layer of road salt before I put the bike in the garage. That is one reason why I won't be paying $60K or anywhere near that for any bike. St.
