See, Kurt is smart and reads, I don't much, at least not technical/mechanical things. I am more theology and history. I read just enough technical stuff to do the task at hand. As for advice I give, like I said, in my years of zapping things with coils, I never had one burn out that is my experience, take it or leave it as you wish. What Snowbum says makes perfect sense to me and I thank Kurt for sharing it with us. Me, I am too lazy, LOL to look it up.

I try not to argue, I prefer discussions. It is hard to have a discussion via email/forum posts due to the constraints of the system.

I have learned something technical here, more about how the system works in total. Kurt has the best way of putting it, don't stick your fingers in the fan.

BMW coils are not cheap nor are the black modules. Cheers. St.
