Need repair screw for R90S Clock.

Post by tobydog61 »

Would anyone have the screw that holds the time change adjustment knob onto the back of the Motometer clock? Mine fell out and I was able to buy a new knob and spring but cannot source the small flathead screw that holds it on. Thanks, really frustrated trying to figure out where to source one of these, Max BMW does not show a source on their micro fiche.

I have mine apart at the moment. If it helps you I'll establish its dimensions and thread size and post it for you.

Yes, that would be very helpful. If I can’t find one at the local hardware, I could order one on the internet if I know the thread and length.

Thanks

screw specs

So the screw is a M2x0.4, 10mm long. They are not flat head. You could use socket head or cheese head. I found them in McMaster Carr PN: 91460A018 but you might find them at a hobby shop.

Thanks much for the assist, found the screw I needed at Ace hardware. Was surprised they would have something so small but perfect fit, all good. Gotta love Ace!
