Post by San Arthur »

I asked my good friend Hank Arriazola for help synchronizing the carbs, and the R90S is ready.

No vibration, but

Post by San Arthur »

After almost a year I went for a ride to test my repaired disk brakes.

I´m happy to report the the vibration and/or pulsation is gone, but the new pads are not braking.

I can fell or hear the calipers returning to it´s place, but the brake power is not there. An the brake/failure light stays on.

I think I need to bleed and check the reservoir and the master cylinder. I´m almost sure is air in the lines.

I imagine we all love our BMW motorcycles, but what do you rather drive/own, a 70´s BMW car or a 70´s MB?

How to bleed the brake lines?

Post by San Arthur »

I refurbish the master cylinder and have fluid in the reservoir, but no braking power.
My guess is that I have air in the lines.
Need suggestions how to bleed the brakes.

Thanks
