Please Help! R26 dynamo.

Post by Manifesto1984 »

Good evening. I would like someone to tell me how I can pull out the dynamo to change the timing chain. If you could send some photos or sketches will appreciate. The motorcycle is my one R26 1957.

Do need a special tool? Since I read and I could understand, this is done using the bolt is screwed into the shaft and keeps the whole system. Is this true and if so how can I handle it?

Thank you very much!

This book:

describes how to remove the rotor on a /2 generator. The /2 as far as I've come to know represents the twins cylinder bikes from '55 to '69. But your R26 is a '57, so I'm pretty sure that it contains the same components in terms of the generator.

Fast. Neat. Average. Friendly. Good. Good.
