I've heard people mention Vech and his batteries...you might want to check with him also.

Sealed 6v Battery

The battery Vech sells is great. I also was able to buy a very good battery (at least so far, have only had it for a few months) from Rage Battery -- but not the one that Phil listed. You want something with more capacity than 4Ah, or the generator will probably overpower it. (Imagine that!) I purchased the 6v 12Ah battery.

Sealed 6v Battery

Hi Darryl,

Thank for the advice on that. I have purchased a Denfeld Solo Seat, Bar End turn signals, hella head light protector, tubes, wires, rear rack, from Vech and they have treated me very well and gave me some great advice too.

The battery you referenced Darryl looks good and I like the price of $22.95 plus shipping. Thanks Darryl.

Sealed 6v Battery

Post by VBMWMO »

Hello All,

I am a new owner of a vintage bike and I am going to chime in on this board for advice. I am looking for a sealed 6v battery for my 67 R60. I was told by my local mechanic they are not made, but I found one here:

http://www.ragebattery.com/yuasa_pdf/NP4-6.pdf

Anyone use this battery? Any recommendations for a sealed 6V battery?

Thanks,

Phil
