The lens on my clock and volt meter were in tough shape. I could not find replacement lens, so I set out to try to make my own. I used acrylic that was 1/8” thick for the lens. A 2” schedule 40 PVC works perfect for a holding jig. I used the lathe to hold everything tight while rolling the old bezel back on, and finished rolling it on with a blunt brass bar with it resting on my work bench. My jig did not like a lot of side pressure. Tape the lens and a coat of satin and they look like new. I also replaced the capacitor in the clock.
