/2 Rear Brake modification advice

Post by eagan7096 »

Hi,
I have a weak right foot which causes me to have trouble pressing the rear brake pedal hard enough to actuate it fully. Does anyone have any advice on possible modifications to aid with actuating the rear brake or has anyone had an alternative rear brake device installed for handicapped riders. such as an additional lever? All ideas are welcome. Thank you!

You can adjust the wing nut on the rear brake rod to actuate the rear brake earlier. I suggest replacing the brake shoes with /5 parts.

When using /5 shoes, does anything else need replacing?

Thank you
