I have been using 2 HF lifts for 10 years now with no problems. I took off the front tire clamps and replaced with a good higher end clamp. I installed heavy duty eye bolts in 3 places on the lift table both left and right, to be able to tie down the bikes depending on the part of the bike I was working on. I know the lifts get a bad rap but I have had great service and both lifts are in constant use, I always have 2 restorations in process in the shop.
