My old exhaust pipes for my 69 R69S are cracked at the tube that connects the two down pipes at the weld. I want to reweld for now but want to make sure its close enough to fit the head exhaust ports. Can anyone measure for me with their heads on (mine arent) between the down tubes. Inside to inside...

Tools in the box/no keys

I didnt get any keys with my R69S. The tank felt a bit heavy on one side. So I took it to the Keyman in Grant Pass. They had the tank for 1/1/2 days and got it open. Said it was a pain. They just worked on it 1-2 hours at a time. So how much will it cost I asked before leaving. $20 for the first key...

Both jugs have been cleaned up. And $300 worth of parts were ordered. Rings, head gaskets? His wife doesnt w...

Buying a 69 R69S

Im looking at a 1969 R69S. It needs a lot of help but everything seems to be there even the fairing. It sat in a carport for several years. The jugs are off for some work done recently....piston frozen in cylinder. Hasnt been on the road since 1998. I see that parts are rather expensive, go figure. ...
