Bags

Thanks Tommy .... Here are the photos Mike sent me. He said the pin strips are original. The real McCoy. If you bought a key there is only one left. I will let you know how the key works in my system when I get it. Does anyone know where I can find the "trim" to the lid? I have a different trim on e...

After we confirmed it was the correct key for the Enduro Bags I bought one. He said he two more left. Tommy ..... it looks like you have the origina...

eBay bags

Also, I just found these on eBay. A little different than mine but for the price it may work. They clean up well.

I need to change the 2 dzuz hardware thingy's that go to the bottom holder at some point. I just use a bolt and nut on it now an...

The only thing I regret is painting the latches. In this case however all the chrome was gone and they were full of rust.

Enduro bags

The restoration/reproduction ones look so, so much better and the hardware is so much better. But... they are not original. You did very well, in fact incredibly well for $500. That pin striping is not original anyway so I wouldn't worry about it. I just took my enduro bags off my bike for the Winte...

Enduro bags

Almost done with the bags. I had to remove, de-rust, paint and re-rivit the latches and lids. They actually came out very nice. I really like the Flex Seal rubber coating on the inside. It covers all the fiberglass patches and IMHO adds to the structure of the bag. The only problem I have now are th...

Paint

If anyone is curious as to what I used. Here it is.

The Flex Seal did a really good job covering the fiberglass repairs from years ago.
