Leather bags

Hey all, Have any of you purchased and use this bracket/bag set up either for plunger frame or Earles frame? I'd like to get bags for both my R67/2 and my R69s and while I do like the look of the Enduro repops, buying just one set of these bags and two sets of corresponding brackets would be much ch...

Anyone know of a screen that fits in the tank at the fill hole that allows one to screw the cap on?

The /2 risers and R68 risers

The /2 risers and R68 risers both center the bar 4cm from the tree so you wont gain height, however, since the R68 type are straight up from the hole you may gain enough space fore and aft to clear your thumbs. Sidecar bars would do it too but you might cut them back just enough to get your clearanc...

It may very well be the tire, while spinning it on my truing stand the tire itself is not true. I tied deflating it and rolling it around while on the bike in an attempt to re-seat it but to no avail. It's a Metzler and I'd be surprised if it's not round. Guess I'll end up dismounting it and trying ...

Front wheel vibration

Hey all, I've got an annoying vibration in the front end of my R67/2 and trying to figure out what's causing it. I checked the wheel for true, it's as close to it as I can get it. I'm using balance beads so they should NOT be it. Looking at my hub I noticed that both hat spacers are somewhat loose a...

Umm, the whole assembly or

Umm, the whole assembly or just a new friction disc? If you're just replacing the disc you must use one made for R51/3, 7mm thick. Examine the hole in the pressure plate center disc to ensure it's nice and square, if not replace it too. Pressure plate must be flat and teeth in good shape. Also exami...
