Update

The process to fit this is to remove the section from the bearing carrier for the kickstart once the carrier has been pressed into place.

Anyone have an example?

Anyone have a picture of one with the section removed? If I have to modify the one I have I'd like a pattern to follow?

Yes

I bought a new one but it doesn't have the 'segment' out of the rim to accommodate th...

460mm brace

I've managed to relocate one of the mounting points so all I need now is a brace that is 460mm lone c to c. Anyone know of one that long?

I'm sure if you ask my wife

I'm sure if you ask my wife nicely she will let you take it at a very good price! They do come up on carandclassic.co.uk every now and then, milweb.net sometimes have one and Dutch Lion motorcycles have them occasionally BUT it's a definite case of buyer beware. You'll find a yahoo forum called Krad...

BW 38 onto R12

I've progressed well with my sidecar project, having found a BW38 and a Zundapp chassis. The only issue I have is that the front adjustable brace needs to be way longer than the current ones available. I need a front adjustable brace that can be 650mm centre to centre. Is the front braces on the BMW...

Side car ball

Thanks Jeff,

I've ordered a longer ball from one of the suppliers. I hope its long enough, I believe it should be 80 - 90mm, but the longest I could find was 75mm.

Ahh, I've found a picture

Ahh, I've found a picture which shows my ball is wrong? If you look at the ball in this one it's longer than mine.
