Two other posters I don't recognize answer the question under the assumption the OP is referring to bicycles.

why did you have to cut down the stock hub ? there IS plenty of room for a std. 4 rib hub off a /6-S model.

Use a side or center stand as support to position and ENGAGE while in any moving vehicle when towing any bike. you won't like the outcome after you hit a pothole, bump, sudden edge, curb, jerk, etc because the side stand can bend the frame. the centerstand can colap...

Attention to Details :: On all BMW's the left cylinder is forward of the right cylinder. We have all gotten used to having the Foot Pegs situated as such, a shorter left than right.
