Just wondering, Most of the time when I see BMW frame numbers they have a roundel stamped before and after them. The couple of R5’s and R6’s from 1937 I have seen the roundels have been omitted. Was that germane to those models in that year? I thought I read once that they were but can’t seem to rem...

Baffles or not? On my R52 the baffle at the end of the header pipes has the welded on end cap removed, assuming its suppose to have one. Also, the second baffle that goes into the rear of the expansion chamber under the floor boards is missing. So, for all intents and purposes I have straight pipes....

Hello,

I am restoring a R67.
Anyone out there have thoughts on the drive shaft bell housing.
The one i have looks to have been cast with a cast finish and has rectangle hole for install/removal.
