Re: replacing ignition advance springs

It is straight forward but, I'm having trouble pushing the spring eyes over the mounting tabs. It seems as if the eyes are too small for the posts. Is there a special trick to get the spring to fit?

replacing ignition advance springs

This is a procedure I've never tried.
How does one replace the ignition advance springs? Which one goes on what side?
Thanks. Frank.

Re: tire selection

No matter what brand you buy, use either 3.50X 18 or, 100/80 or /90 on both ends. A 4.00 not only makes the machine handle for the worse, IMO, and, is a PIA to remove the rear wheel.

new ignition advance units

Has anyone had luck getting a new ignition advance unit that works properly? I had the same results as J. Wonder, with a new one I bought a while back.

Re: wheel seals

Yes, those are the ones. I installed them and one wheel is fine but the other seems to tighten up when I spin it,. It's almost as if it's screwing a bolt into a nut. Have to pull the stack out again and see what's up?
