Very nice. I had both the low

I'm also thinking crap/debris

I'm also thinking crap/debris in the gas. Yes, that will affect both carbs at the same time. And your description sounds all to familiar. Have you flushed or ever flushed your tank and fuel lines? Are you running filters to each carb? Have you personally cleaned and tuned your carbs? You only need t...

Another lower body (motor)

Another lower body (motor) part that reduces road clearance IMO. Trying not to be the cranky old man but they would have come with a larger sump capacity if it was really needed. Over on the Ural site some folks install the deeper sumps. Primitive Splash-bath. Alway a debate if needed or really does...

True. The high bars were

True. The high bars were shipped on all '68's & 69's on the US Models (thus US High bars). When I first bought my bike it came with the low Euro bars. Really looks fantastic but for comfort I switched back to the high US bars. really made for a somewhat bigger cockpit position for me not leaning...

Adding a sidecar to one of

Adding a sidecar to one of these antiques will be fine as long as it is done proper. And you have the correct gearbox for it. Cant be just because you have the sidecar lugs on the side of the frame. If you have the $$$ an already completed one will save you time but they can be spendy. There is goin...
