Bluemoonscooter Endurobags???

When I typed "blue moon scooter" in search, got an e-bay store front.
I did not see the eurobags on the website - am I missing something?
And, if I don't have an ebay account, any other form of contact?

thanks,
fred

How to Use EMPI Carb Synch Tools

I used just the smaller one, inserted directly into the meter - yes, the holes are covered when you do this. I removed the chrome tubes and inserted the small rubber directly over the carb body opening. Then opened the throttle just slightly (slight increase in rpm, the carb slides are now just up f...

R60/2 Running rough and looking for some help

As a new guy to these bikes, I offer only a couple POSSIBLE hints....the knowledge on this forum is much, much deeper than mine. That said, a couple questions: - You said the plugs were fouled. Are the plugs oil or gas fouled? (Oily residue, or fluffy carbon?) Low compression could cause oily residu...

drive shaft oil level?

I too noticed the Clymer said 100cc. However, the BMW maintenance manual said 200cc, which brings it about to the bottom of the threads - I put in 180cc...so far, so good.... There are several "odd" things in the Clymer manual....I think the final drive called for 1/4 liter (250cc) ; the B...

1968 R60/2 Choke

As I remember, it's best not to try and translate literally from German to English. Probably better to think in terms of "open" and "closed" for auf and zu, applicable terms for both the petcock and the choke. The restriction of the air flow occurs in the zu (closed) position. In...

1968 R60/2 Choke

Hmmm, believe auf is part of a separable prefix, used to indicate up/upwards/opening....? My '57 air cleaner has "auf" and "zu" - zu = closed (choked). Feel up inside the opening and you can tell the difference. fred t. "Western Washington, where Lewis and Clark were impress...

Thinking about purchasing a bike...

I recently purchased my "first" BMW, a 1957 R50 for $4K; I thought it was a decent deal for the good shape it was in. If you want, you can give me a call and I'll tell you some of the "interesting" things I've learned from a novice perspective.... Ph: Three six zero - nine four t...

R50/2 tires

1957 R-50: So...I just put a 3.50x18 IRC on the front to match the existing rear 3.50x18 IRC, (size based on the original owner's manual). If I understand correctly, I must reverse the drive direction of the arrow on the front tire(?).

Thanks,,,
