Ebay turn signal from Bluemoonscooter

The bulbs I received from Bluemoon are 6Volt, 3 Watt. The wattage is too low to be visible, especially in daylight. I think Hella/replacement bulbs are 18 Watts, (according to Bench Mark catalog). Maybe, order new bulbs from Bench Mark Works?

Ebay turn signal from Bluemoonscooter

Installing LED bulbs by themselves may not work, (as turn signals)....they may not activate the flasher - you may need a "load device", available online through some of the electronic lighting companies. Signal Dynamics comes to mind - others are out there as well - maybe, even radio shack...

Easy / Soft Clutch Gizmo

My R-50 came with one - didn't care much for it, especially for adjustments - took it off. Understand some of the bigger bikes do benefit from it....

Ebay turn signal from Bluemoonscooter

Yes, install 6 volt bulbs....unless you have upgraded your bike to 12 volt, in which case, you may have a partially grounded wire or a bad ground connection.

Bluemoonscooter Endurobags???

808-- Ordered the bags. If I understand it correctly, you bent the bottom bracket to raise the bag 1/2" to clear closure of the lids. Q = Does it seem possible to cut/notch the upper bracket to allow for lid closure in lieu of bending the bottom bracket? (Rubber washers are a good idea - I thin...

Contacting Someone on German ebay

I would be "somewhat careful" about buying a bike unseen on ebay. I know someone who bought a bike on ebay, paid to have it shipped, then was so disappointed in the bike it just sat in the corner of his garage for six years. He finally sold it for $1,500 less than he paid for it six years ...

Willy Neutkens Auction Results from Munich

A novice question: Is the frame number stamped under the tag, (on the actual frame), as well as on the frame tag and engine? Reason for asking: The frame tag on my 1957 R-50 is missing. However, the number is stamped on the frame between the rivet holes. It looks professionally done, not just someon...

Bluemoonscooter Endurobags???

They look good....I would get a pair, but now, I can't even get the "blue moon scooter" store front to come up on ebay.....just the "satisfaction score" comes up.

Oh well....
