Re: R18 for Demo ride.

Yes that is the one. That should be 3 ones, cause that is the third generation. But look at the 2018 V7111 Special ( Blue) I had a 70+ Guzzi 30 yrs ago. Wanted one to/looked at one. But I couldnt even get it on the center stand anymore. Just to heavy & awkward for me know. So went with newer/lig...

Didnt ride, not my cup of tea. Their # 503-597-7097. I have 2 BMW bikes already but they had a nice 2018 V7111 ...

Re: Swingarm gear oil - does some "hide"?

I have got more out the swing arm but not less. I would turn the rear wheel a couple times and leave the drain plug open. Is it possible there could be some in the rubber boot? Sorry I dont have a book in front of me to look at. If it will fill to the right level with the 150ml then it will be full....

Re: My First K Bike

I had sold my 84 R100RT in 1998 & thought I should have a K bike. I found A 1988 K100LT In Fresno Calif. Rode it for couple yrs & got tired of it. Then I found a nice 93 K1100 LT with ABS, that never worked. Put it in my pickup & haled it around with my camp trailer in tow. We went from ...

Replacing "new age oils"

I grew up in the 60s & 70s & we were always told to replace the engine oil if setting for long time. Three to 4 months could be a long time? Something about eating up the crank journals or some rubbish like that? Couple of my bike I only rode 500 miles or so this summer. My Toro ridding lawn...

Re: '63 r60 losing power after warmed up

Did you check both Carbs to make sure they both had enough gas in them after running. I like to hook up a timing light to the plug wires. Point at my face and pull the trigger for both sides, see if there is any difference in the firing of each. No it wont blind you if you hold at arms length.
