I have a photo of my 1959 R69 taken at Xmas 1962 . The photo clearly shown a large Coffee tail light and a R50 / R60 Airfilter with the slide type choke . I will try and attach a photo of the bike . I live in Sydney , Australia . There is a early model Honda Dream in the background

Hi I live in Sydney , Australia and after a full restoration of 1961 R69S I fitted a standard 6 volt square black cased battery . It lasted about 3 years . I have replaced it with a Lithium Shorai 6 volt battery . It is smaller than the original battery fitted . The new battery is fitted inside the ...

Hi When I restored my 1961 R69S . I bought a complete kit from the Bolt Guy . They are only Stainless . Very happy with the quality and the service .If you intend to go the cad plated route perhaps get the original bolts cad plated or keep an eye out on E Bay for somebody selling the original bolts ...

The front brake in the cafe racer / sidecar is a Yamaha double sided twin leading brake . it was fitted standard in Yamaha 250 / 350 Production racers from 1969 to 1974 . Hope this is of some help .

The headlight switch is Zundapp Super Sabre . I have a Zundapp 250S with an identical switch .The actual headlight bucket may still be the original unit but somebody has added the Zundapp switch in the centre and another one on the left hand side.
