Re: When did Dover White really start?

I have an early 1961 R69S in original Dover White. I believe I've seen earlier white bikes.

Re: R69S Dover White on BAT

I was surprised to see this special bike only bid to $14.5K. Your good news is that It's still available from the dealer, Route 36 Motor Cars in Dublin, Ohio. Re: Casting numbers on 55 - 69 Twins

Thanks all for responding. I'll go ahead and order all the bearings, seals, gaskets, plugs, and washers for the R69 from the parts manual and figure they'll fit whichever case castings we opt for. Sure do miss Vech and Richard.

Nice to know y'all still out there

Re: Casting numbers on 55 - 69 Twins

Am I correct that the transmissions of all the models from R50 to R69 are identical in all respects such as gearing . . .ect.?

Casting numbers on 55 - 69 Twins

We have four transmissions from which we hope to assemble two good ones. The casting numbers within the bell housing differ in their final digits. Would someone be so kind as to explain the situation?

The fairing appears to me to be a Heinrich fairing. Is it aluminum?

Re: Steib sidecar brake

I've recently acquired a S501 Steib which will mate with either a '51 R67 or a '59 R69 ( both bikes still in the restoration queue). The brake lines, b and the brake hub are all in place. A master cylinder is needed. A lot of the linkage items are available, but the cylinder is unobtainable. And so....
